Hello again our fellow cosplayers, readers, stalkers, whatevers! (now you are probably wondering why I update this blog so soon!)

Today I decided to start this blog with a wonderful quote from S. Beckett and I will also end this blog with an awesome quote. (too much Criminal minds: FBI)

Actually there is a good reason for updating today. I visited Aniki and found our pictures! SO I decided that it's now time for showing our costumes round'n'through.

I will start with myself as Abel (because my pics were there first, HA!)

This is Abel front.

..and this is Abel back.


Abel's scythe is made of wood, plastic, paper(!!),glue,paint and fabric. At first I made a pattern and then I (my father actually) cut it from a 3mm thin wood. Then I covered it with plastic and fabric and finally with paper (or to be more specific, tissues and glue). The outfit isn't that special, just sewn and stuff..

Armors are made of plastic foam and glue + paint (Elffi actually asked me if they're made of Wonderflex..cool, btw stalk him, he's a great cosplayer!) and so are Cain's armors. All the jewellery is either bought and edited, made of some type of mass or made of plastic foam. The big chain is made of Fimo..or the other stuff that is almost similar:D

I know you're interested in the wig so I can reveal that it actually carries a hanger inside of it:D That's all I can reveal so far!

Aaand here we have Poke as Cain front:

Well, Cain's prop is actually made of a mop. It's just covered with hockey tape and stuff..yeah. And the led-ball inside is a christmas ball I got for christmas present..*poor face* Poke is using my christmas presents:(

There's nothing so special to tell anymore:D We will make another post of the wings.

Now I have 8 minutes to finish this before I need to go to my swedish class..yai, listening comprehension that I've already made!!!!!!11111

WATCH OUT, WE GOT A BADASS OVER HERE!

Hello again!(still not dead ha-ha-ha!)

This time it's me, Momo, writing! So Poke can't brag about me being inactive!!111

Yeah.

So it's been a day since we got back from Desucon Frostbite and it was awesome!

We were cosplaying Abel Nightroad crusnik 80% and Cain Nightlord crusnik 100% from Trinity blood. Here is me as Abel Nightroad:

..and this is Poke as Cain. Those little wings were just about 3 meters wide... My wings were 1,2 m high but not as wide, thank god! I think it was a little tricky to walk with those wings..

Now. What are we doing on stage?

Here's what happened: we were just chillin' our costumes when suddenly, a wild cosplay person appears! She told us that we were selected to Hall cosplay! There were two series: Frosti-chan's favourites and Technically hard costumes. We were the ones with technically hard ones.. (no way!) AND when we arrived to back stage (fuck yeah, back stage! V.I.P Bitc...yeah) we saw our cosplay idol who was representing Finland in World cosplay summit just chillin' around and going to compete in a same serie. Wait..what. We have never ever competed with our costumes and then suddenly a wild cosplay competition appears and we are on stage and what?! Being on stage wasn't new to us since we had already been there but then suddenly the wild jury appeared. We hadn't considered the fact that we were to be checked by them. I was deadly nervous and it was quite awkward but I loved the judge called Casper! He was very nice and funny:D

We didn't win anything but at least we have now competed!

After Hall cosplay we went back to our hotel and partied hard! (WHAT IS LOVE!) Later on we saw someone commenting that in our level there were some drunken idiots yelling...well.

WHO WOULD IT BE?

yeah.

Consider the fact that we were totally sober. But it wasn't us.

On Sunday we were cosplaying these triplets from kuroshitshuji:

The third part of the triplet is our fellow cosplayer and friend Hisi :D Thank you for participating!

The funny fact is that we were almost as popular as when we had our 3-meter wings and gravity defying hair...Fate.

Epic cosplay is epic.

Then off to another business: Närcon 2012

We were on the closing of the con and there was this super cute guy from sweden telling about Närcon with all it's swimming pools, Milk shake machines and anything you can imagine...

SO, when I got back to Tampere I googled Närcon and all the prices and stuff and found out that it would only cost about 80 euros all included! SO CHEAP!!!!

Means, we are so going!!

WHY, OH WHY

Hello, pirates!

Few days ago, I began to think, what in the world keeps me cosplaying.

After all it's quite a pain in the ass.

ATM, I probably have like 12 small burns in my hands (and in my feet????!!!11!!) thanks for the hot glue :D

Not to mention my nail polish, that is now ruined thanks to acrylic paint, I also have nice traces of oh-so-famous brown acrylic paint in my arms and I'm tellin' ya, those traces do not look like paint...too much information.

And then there's this moneyloss, all my money goes to cosplay. ALLLLLLLL MY MONEY!!!

Not to mention the fact that I don't have time to my "real life" during the few weeks before the convention.

And oh why, why all this pain!

So you can be a star for one (or two) days! That some nice fangirl can take a nice photo of you and your oh-so-nice cosplay!! YEEEAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh...h..h.hh...not.

As an example, when we were doing our Cain and Abel armors, we simply drove to our leisure home (lol leisure..like cosplayers would have any..) to make those wonderful cosplays for our fellow cosplayers and convention friends to judge in their heads (I'm sure theres lots of wows and noes) and to see how our costumes slowly went broken and again there was more to do....Btw, I think we're gonna spend another leisure-home-non-leisure-but-hard-work week this week :Ddd since the wings still need more feathers and there are few swords (they're no swords n00b, they're Scythes WL:Momo) to do :D

BUT

enough angstifying.

We have actually done something.

Wings are almost done with only (I'll add brackets.."few" -Momo) few feathers loss and stuff :D

I've already done one (There should be six...) shoecover to kuroshitsuji triplet and only vests (yeah, thanks for helping poke! - Momo who almost broke the sewing machine..) need little more job, so you can start clapping and hooraying, triplet really is working out :D

Momo is currently sewing and I should get on to work with the rest of the shoecovers (tutorial coming, I know you want it)

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND STUFF!

I will start with the oh, so familiar SORRY WE HAVEN'T BEEN UPDATING :(

and oh yeah, HELLO!!!!!

Now here comes the big news...get ready...WE HAVE BEEN ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING!!!

and before anyone comes up with the pic or didn't happen....WE EVEN HAVE SOME PICTURES!!!

...YYEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!11!

..okay.

So we have made some progress with our cosplays, Cain and Abel wings are almost done (and by almost I really mean almost)

SO MANY FEATHER AND OH...no rly.

Wingspan is about 2 meters and length is little over 3 meters :D so they are HUGE.

Here is me with the wings on (or WING on, because by the time that picture was taken, I only had done one wing..) AND I'M TERRIBLY SORRY WITH MY LOOKS!!!

ERRRORRRR...I kind of forgot to take photo of them :( But here is the photo of the featherfringe momo bought!

speaking about the feathers....I was "little" pissed off when I realized that I should have bought feather fringe instead of feathers but...MOMO MADE THE SAME JOB I DID IN AN HOUR DURING 5 MINUTES!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!! this is my face when I was done with my wings and realized Momo was also done..

AND OFF TO OTHER COSPLAYS

We have received the wigs and sewed a little.

I'm sooo sorry we haven't been updating for a while but we've been so busy!


I had this play, Kani Kani, and it took pretty much every single minute of my time during the last few weeks :(

but if it comforts you at all, It was great. Acting and theatre is so close to my heart<3

AND WE HAVE SOME NEW COSPLAY PLANS!!

Since there's two days in the con, we're having two costumes!

on first day we will cosplay as Cain and Abel as you very well knew :D

but on the second day we will be cosplaying...*rums*...KUROSHITSUJI TRIPLET SERVANTS!


but thete are three of them and there's only two of us...so will we make a doll or hologram or..

no. We have an honour to be accompanied by Hisi, our fellow cosplayer friend!

Since the costumes are quite easy to make we have almost done alread..BULLSHIT!

We haven't ordered the wigs yet. Or thought about the pants.

But what we do have, is shoes and vest patterns. And fabrics lol.

so we're on to it.

nuff said.

ok. I have student counselling lesson so off to my duty.

COOKING COSPLAYPLANS AND STATISTICS

Hello again our precious readers!

Though I'm not sure if we even have them since we only get comments once in a blue moon but then again this page has been viewed over 1500 times and 416 out of it this month which is just awesome! And today there's been 9 stalkers already :o (and no it doesn't count me updating the page 5 times per second:D) What's even more interesting is that not all of them are finnish! we have a very international range of readers (USA, Russia,Brazil..) and that's even more cool.

It was actually quite fun to take a look at our statistics. From our statistics I can see that our blog has been found via irc-galleria, Facebook and what totally surprised me:http://forums.aniki.fi/ was the page that has given us many views! Also a page called pu.gg has brought us dozens of views? STRANGE

However, the funniest part was absolutely to find the headwords leading to this blog:

Then there were some really nonsense facts like that our blog is mostly browsed via Mozilla Firefox and that 4% of our views is done by Macintosh...cooooool. Yeah.

I could actually reveal our next project! I have watched kuroshitsuji for long and we needed an easy and semi-cheap costume for Desucon Frostbite and this is just awesome since it's probably gonna be quite comfortable. Since there are three of them, we have a friend called Hisi to be Timber (the one in the middle) and I'm gonna be Canterbury and Poke will be Thompson:) As you see they are tripletsbut since we are twins and Hisi is approximately as tall as we are, we'll manage!

I'm sorry if thepicture is too big, I tried to choose a small one but blogger loves me so...:(

Now I'm going to pet our dog and wait 'till poke arrives from school and then we are going to the car school and start it as soon as possible (next week). We will warn you before our driving lessons so you can go to the bomb shelters in time:)
